What the MCP endpoint receives

When your AI assistant uses contextpill.com/mcp, it sends the tool name and any arguments it chooses, for example a topic or search words. We don't ask for, and don't need, an account, name, email or key. The endpoint is read-only and can't change anything in your accounts.

What we log

For each MCP request and each fetch of latest.md, latest.json or today.txt we record: the method or file, the tool name (not its arguments), the HTTP status, any error code, the MCP protocol version, a broad client type taken from the user agent, the country taken from the network edge, and a one-way fetcher id. The id is a keyed hash of the date, IP address and user agent, so it changes every day. We send this to our analytics provider, PostHog (US). We don't store your IP address with these events and we don't build person profiles. We don't log search words or other tool arguments.

The website

Web pages use PostHog in cookieless mode: no cookies, nothing kept in your browser's storage for analytics, and no session recording. It counts page views and a few clicks, such as the copy buttons. If you use the light or dark theme toggle, your choice is saved in your browser only. The daily email ended on October 16, 2026, and we don't take signups.

Sponsors

Sponsor payments run on Stripe's hosted checkout, not on this site. Stripe handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive the business name, sponsor line and link you enter there.

Hosting

The site and endpoint run on Cloudflare, which processes requests, including IP addresses, to serve and protect the site. Feed content is fetched from the public GitHub repo.

What we don't do

No cookies on the MCP endpoint. No sessions. We don't sell or share data for advertising.
